Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Date: April 2013

I will readily admit this is not the greatest photograph, technically speaking, but I wanted to share it for its timeliness. I was in Belfast, Northern Ireland in April 2013, partaking in their famous black taxi mural tours. This was just days after Margaret Thatcher had passed away. You can imagine that some in Northern Ireland were happy about this development. Given the recent Brexit vote and the installation of Theresa May, the United Kingdom’s second female prime minister, this photo came to mind. I wonder what we’ll be saying or hearing 30 years from now about the United Kingdom.
